Lori Knowlton is an accomplished Chief Human Resources Officer in publicly traded multinational technology companies. With over 25 years of experience in talent leadership roles. Knowlton has deep expertise in identifying, evaluating, and retaining top talent, mergers and acquisitions and designing effective organizations. She is also adept in key issues facing boards today ranging from diversity to ESG.
Most recently, Ms. Knowlton served as the Chief People Officer of Silicon Labs (NASDAQ: SLAB) reporting to their CEO. Her primary responsibilities included leading the global HR function, building a business-centric HR model, driving organization due diligence and post-merger integration and modernizing the in-house talent acquisition function including a strong university relations program.
Prior to Silicon Labs, Knowlton led all aspects of HomeAway.com’s (NASDAQ: AWAY, now VRBO) talent agenda from early-stage growth through multiple acquisitions, IPO and through purchase by Expedia Group. Her SVP role included senior executive team responsibilities as well as regular board and Compensation Committee interaction.
Ms. Knowlton is currently a Board member at The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas and at ZACH Theatre located in Austin, TX. She is on the advisory board of BEAM, a network to support women founders and also advises early stage companies. She recently led the research committee in GSA’s Women in Leadership Initiative to understand diversity issues in the semiconductor industry
Knowlton earned her Bachelors’ degree with honors from Bowdoin College. She lives in Austin, TX.
